About Us
Hello, I am the maker and creator of Lilac Jacs, Emily. I started Lilac Jacs after we had our third child as a creative outlet and a way to have a small side income. I purchased a laser machine and taught myself to use it plus design files and trace handwriting and photos during naptimes and after the kids went to bed. As our business grew, our family grew to four children plus our Great Dane. Our house and hearts are so full!
I am here to create beautiful pieces for people to have or gift. My favorite things we make are the ones that have the deepest meanings, mostly handwritten recipes engraved on boards, ornaments, or wall hangings. There is nothing I love more than to help people create something beautiful that holds so much meaning and love.
Note that we are a SMALL business. We run out of our family's basement and I do most of my work after the kids are in bed. Every order means so much to me and our family. If you have a custom order in mind or an idea for something not listed, I am always thrilled to work with clients on new products.
